Easily upgrade your old 16" tires and wheels for 17.5" today. The 17.5" works well with 7k Axles, 8k Axles, 9k axles, 10k axles, and 12k trailer axles.
Same bolt pattern as 16" trailer wheels.
Be sure to check your hub drum to make sure it is 4.75".

The 215/75R17.5 16 ply tire and wheel combo are about the same height (hair shorter/taller depending on the brand of tire you have) than the ST235/80R16 trailer tire and wheel. These tires are also perfect for low profile trailers.
Corrosion-Resistant Finish
The steel wheel goes through a 3-step finishing process that makes it both attractive and corrosion resistant. The wheel is first submerged in a zinc phosphate bath to ensure good paint adhesion. It is then e-coated with an acrylic primer base and finished on both sides with baked-on DuPont powder paint.
Radial Tires vs. Bias Tires
Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. As a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds.
