The 6K-KIT04 Single Axle Trailer Kit includes everything needed to replace or build a complete 6000 lb trailer axle system. Designed for utility trailers, equipment trailers, cargo trailers, landscape trailers, and custom builds, this package includes a Carter electric brake axle, suspension components, mounted tire and wheel assemblies, and optional hanger kit.
Built with a heavy-duty 3 inch axle tube and self-adjusting electric brakes, this axle is designed to provide reliable braking performance and long service life. Carter trailer axles are fully interchangeable with Dexter, Lippert, AL-KO, Hayes, Rockwell American, and many other trailer axle brands.

How to Measure Your Trailer Axle
Hub Face Measurement
Measure from the face of one hub where the wheel studs protrude to the face of the hub on the opposite side.
Spring Center Measurement
Measure from the center of one spring seat to the center of the spring seat on the opposite side.
Most 6K trailer axles have approximately a 15 inch difference between Hub Face and Spring Center dimensions.
